What subject matter do you photograph?
I primarily photograph (and am most passionate about) children and families, but I do accept a limited number of commercial projects and high school seniors each quarter. I’m currently not booking any events or weddings. Twice annually I shoot non-traditional school portraits for two of the largest private schools in our community, serving over 1,000 students each year. Click here to review my school portrait work.
Do you offer the sale of digital files?
Absolutely. Digital Collections start at $700. Digital Files are delivered in high resolution and come standard with a Personal Print Release. Files are delivered via USB within 4 weeks of purchase, however, an instant digital download option is always available. Our Studio offers an array of other products, but Digital Collections remain the most popular. Please email for a full Studio Catalogue.
Do you offer mini sessions, sales or discounts?
I do not offer any type of portrait session that is condensed or miniature. All of my sessions are designed to provide my client with a myriad of imagery. I enjoy spending time with my clients and working together to create meaningful portraits – nothing rushed or hurried. As a client of mine, you can expect to have 100-200 final edited images in your returned portrait gallery. I offer only one discount annually, in December of each year.
Where do you shoot?
Most shoots take place outdoors, with the exception of sessions held inside client homes. I have several go-to locations in and around Savannah, primarily rural and lowcountry.
What time of day do you shoot?
Fabulous sunlight is a large part of the equation when I create my imagery. For this reason, I shoot beginning two hours before sunset for all outdoor sessions. More flexibility in timing is permitted when we are shooting inside.
What is your session fee?
The session fee is $275 and is required to book your appointment date. Studio Prints, Products and Digital Collections are sold separately. The average client invests anywhere from $1,300 to $3,000. Please email for a full Studio Catalogue.
How long will our session last?
On location childhood and family sessions typically last 60-120 minutes, while newborn sessions can take up to 4 hours. When you schedule your appointment, we will discuss the expected amount of shooting time.
I am a commercial client. What is your pricing?
I charge $200 per hour for commercial clients, with a minimum booking of 2 hours. Commercial projects vary greatly and this rate is subject to change. Hourly commercial rates include the release of high resolution digital files.
What is your policy on rescheduling?
Life happens. I have three children and a very busy business – which all means that I understand, appreciate and accept the unexpected. If something unavoidable arises, we will find a time in the very near future that works for both parties. Please remember that session fees are non-refundable. If the unavoidable issue is weather, all efforts will be made to re-schedule your appointment as soon as possible.
How long does it take to receive my images?
Please allow up to three weeks to receive your childhood or family portrait gallery. Commercial clients can expect to receive their imagery within 7 business days. Every effort is made to release at least 2 images to you prior to the full release of your gallery.
